Each team will take part in MLS opening weekend either March 2nd or 3rd.

Champions League.  His new home will be FC Augsburg in the German Bundesliga, a side currently in 17th place fighting for relegation.  Some will snarl at the move as lateral, but it is a move into a top league.  Now as he slots into right back, Parkhurst will be looking to help Augsburg avoid being sent back to 2. Bundesliga.  They will be fighting Fabian Johnson and Danny Williams of Hoffenheim to get out of the bottom three. Augsburg’s first match after the new year will be a good chance for a win against Fortuna Düsseldorf.  Parkhurst made his wishes clear in a recent interview with Soccer By Ives, and it seems they came true.

In case you are keeping track, the U.S. Men’s National Team finished the year ranked 28th in the FIFA World Rankings.  That is up six positions from 2011.
