The cost of each USMNT game at the 2026 World Cup
By James Fudge

The countdown is officially on for the US Men’s National Team supporters, with less than 60 days remaining until the opening whistle at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City to kick off the 2026 World Cup.
As the tournament shifts into high gear across North America, the action will come thick and fast. The USMNT is set to make its domestic debut at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, where they will face Paraguay in a highly anticipated Group D opener.
A match against Australia at Lumen Field in Seattle is sandwiched between a high-stakes return to SoFi Stadium to face Turkey, firmly establishing the West Coast as the home base for Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, and company. Meanwhile, manager Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping to mastermind a spot in the knockout rounds, giving the crowds across the country plenty of reasons to erupt and fall in love with soccer.
Tickets to all games in the tournament are officially sold through FIFA. There are a handful of sale phases through which fans can enter ticket lotteries, with those interested in attending a match can register for the latest news and ticket information. Tickets are also appearing on unofficial channels such as Ticketmaster and Ticombo.
We look at the cost for those fans looking to attend the World Cup games:
USA vs Paraguay
The most expensive of the three group-stage matches, largely due to being the tournament’s opening game on home soil. Category 1 tickets, the highest tier, reach up to $2,735, while Category 4 tickets range from $500 to $600, placing fans high in the stands for a distant view of the action.
Notably, Category 1 prices exceed those of all quarter-finals and even one of the semi-finals, making this the third most expensive fixture overall.
USA vs Australia
The match at Lumen Field in Seattle sees a significant drop in prices across all categories, with Category 1 tickets around $535 and Category 4 seats averaging between $90 and $100.
However, for those unsuccessful in the FIFA ticket ballot, resale platforms often list tickets at vastly inflated prices, with some categories exceeding $1,000.

USA vs Turkey
Returning to SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, this potential group decider is notably cheaper than the opening match, with Category 1 tickets around $850 and Category 4 seats starting at approximately $150.
While this marks a significant drop from the opener, it remains a considerable outlay, particularly if the USMNT fails to meet expectations. On the resale market, prices climb much higher than in Seattle, with some listings ranging from £1,900 to over $3,000 per ticket.
Although FIFA’s pricing may risk limiting full attendance across the tournament, the World Cup’s spectacle is unlikely to suffer, with home fans still expected to turn out in force and back their team in hopes of a deep run.
