Pulisic stays in Italy
The American joined AC Milan in 2023, his third club after Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea. Now, 143 appearances and 45 goals later, Pulisic is committed to the club. Three more appearances at Milan will surpass Chelsea as his most-capped club.
He had a shaky start to this season adapting to Ruben Amorim's new system, but has returned to form after missing out on the USMNT's October camp, scoring in two of his last four Serie A starts. He has proven to be an impactful member of Milan's squad, and now his future is secured.
Re-signing at Milan not only keeps Pulisic in a situation where he plays significant minutes in a key role. But it's also one that guarantees he will face a high level of competition, as AC Milan are nearly always in European competitions and contending for Serie A titles. At 28 years old, Pulisic is not stepping down in competition.

How this helps his USMNT future
While Pulisic might not be the savior of American soccer he was once thought to be, he is still one of the most talented players on the roster. He's a lock to start in every match if healthy, but health has not been his strong suit. Pulisic was hindered in the World Cup by leg injuries and missed the September-October USMNT camp as a result of those injuries. Mauricio Pochettino showed his preference for players who can contribute, so Pulisic must improve his fitness to stay in the squad.
He will almost certainly be included in the November squad, but competition for each position is heightening. Pulisic is undoubtedly the best winger the USMNT has to offer. But should Pochettino opt for a more midfield-heavy formation, Pulisic could be the odd man out.
Looking ahead, Pulisic will surely play a defining role in the USMNT's 2030 World Cup cycle. His best performances will be required for the U.S. to take the next step toward becoming competitive with the top international squads.
