Once again, several Premier League games this weekend featured USMNT players. With another international break around the corner, all of them are under the microscope. Let's look at how every American in the Premier League performed on matchday 8.

Chris Richards, Crystal Palace

It was another bad day for Richard and Crystal Palace, who were on the wrong side of a 2-0 loss to Newcastle. Richards played all 90 minutes, leading the game with 73 touches, while also making 12 defensive contributions. Despite winning 8 of his 13 duels, Richards struggled with his distribution. He also couldn’t compensate for Palace’s continued defensive woes. The Eagles have gone four straight without a win, conceding 12 goals across those four matches. There was also no sign of Zavier Gozo in the matchday squad.

Antonee Robinson, Fulham

Robinson put in another solid 90-minute shift for Fulham, as the Cottagers beat Coventry 1-0 on Saturday. He’s not exactly playing his best soccer at the moment, as his crosses and long balls aren’t at the level we’re accustomed to seeing from him. Robinson also picked up a yellow card on Saturday, his first of the season. But with 12 defensive contributions, Robinson helped Fulham keep a clean sheet and earn all three points.

Tyler Adams, Bournemouth

Adams and Bournemouth are on a roll. The Cherries have won back-to-back Europa League games and back-to-back Premier League games, totaling four straight victories after a 3-0 dismantling of Manchester United on Sunday. As usual, Adams didn’t contribute to the goals, but he was a key part of the midfield effort. Even with Bournemouth’s busy schedule, Adams played all 90 minutes, covering more ground than any other player, while creating one chance and making 12 defensive contributions. While not a concern, Adams picked up a yellow card in the match, his fourth booking in the last six games he’s started for club and country.

Brenden Aaronson, Leeds United

After being an unused sub last week, Aaronson got his first Premier League start since the end of August on Sunday. But he didn’t necessarily make the most of it, playing just 65 minutes before being subbed out. Aaronson was industrious, as usual, creating two chances and making three defensive contributions. However, he didn’t make a huge impact on the game in a scoreless draw against Sunderland.
