Tyler Adams is, despite still having plenty of years ahead of him, one of the USMNT's senior figures. He was there in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, and he will carry the flag on home grass this summer.

In a recent interview with The American Pitch, Adams recognized that this is a definitive era for the USMNT. To host the biggest competition in the world of sport is one thing, but doing so with the current talent that the U.S.A. has is a golden opportunity; one that Adams recognizes.

We asked Tyler Adams if he thinks this generation of US players is helping to redefine what American soccer culture looks like. Adams said, "Absolutely. With the growth of the game and the level many players are reaching individually, we can compete with the best in the world. Now it’s about bringing that together and showing it on the biggest stage."

The current USMNT is stacked with talent in all areas of the team. The talent is on display not just in MLS, but across different continents, too. Tyler Adams is one of the players who plys his trade in Europe currently, but he's not the only one. The likes of Chris Richards, Weston McKennie, Folarin Balogun and many others are in impressive form for their European teams.

The growth of U.S. soccer is happening rapidly, and it's impact stretches far beyond just the United States. Across the pond, the work has been done, but as Adams alluded to, it's now about bringing that together and fighting for a common cause on the biggest stage in sports.

"Fans will see something they can truly relate to," Adams said. "Americans connect with passion, fight, and patriotism. Our team has strong personalities, diversity, and character—there’s someone for every fan to connect with."

Both Adams and Pulisic have delivered a crystal clear message to USMNT fans that the U.S.A. isn't just here to host, they are here to compete.

The U.S.A. features a large pool of players in the form of their lives, and now, it's about showcasing that talent to the world. Adams and Pulisic are hyped - and USMNT fans should be, too.
